Pridnestrovie 2021

This work was done in early May 2021 during two weeks. It depicts the everyday life in the little separatist Republic located on the eastern border of Moldova, between the Dniestr river and Ukraine. As the people were getting ready for the celebrations of the 9th of May, access was given to us to kindergarten, schools, sports clubs and cultural institutions. After the Victory Day with Vadim Krasnoselsky (President of Transnistria), we met Vitaliy Viktorovich Ignatyev (Ministry of foreign affairs) and Dimitri Stepanovitch Stanev (Palace of Culture director).
