Colombia 2025

These photos were taken during the month of March 2025 in several regions of Colombia. During a report on FARC-EP political prisoners held in the United States, we took the opportunity to travel around the country and discover a number of different situations. We travelled around Cúcuta, in Norte de Santander and Catatumbo, where a FARC breakaway was attacked by the ELN, resulting in around a hundred civilian deaths and tens of thousands of displaced people. Then we went to Nariño to meet another FARC splinter faction, the Coordinadora Nacional Ejército Bolivariano, and had a chance to talk to its leader Walter Mendoza (historically in the FARC-EP and then the Segunda Marquetalia).
